Contributors to the series include Young, Paul Bowles, Bob Brown, Albert Harper, and more. The first series consisted of six pamphlets while the second and final series consisted of eight pamphlets.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kathleen Tankersley Young was Black&nbsp;a author and poet during the Harlem Renaissance. Young was one of the founding publishers of the literary magazine <em>Blues: A Magazine of New Rhymes <\/em>with Charles Henri Ford and Parker Tyler.&nbsp; Displayed here is the \u201coriginal setting typescript for pamphlet number four of the first series. This typescript includes three stories by Young titled, \u201cThe Pepper Trees,\u201d \u201cThe City Under the Mountains,\u201d and \u201cWinter Lie Down in This Street.\u201d The typescript is bound with brads in paper wrappers with a title page.\u201d Additionally, the typescript bears revisions by the author and annotations by the printer.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(The information is derived from the finding aid.
