D.) Snodgrass (1926-2009), poet<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe McGraw-Snodgrass correspondence\nfound in the poet\u2019s papers includes the initial fan letter from the painter\nDeLoss McGraw, who described the personal comfort and joyful inspiration he\nreceived from the poet. Writing cross-country, their relationship burgeoned\nwith mutual artistic admiration and the two exchanged works in progress.\nSnodgrass remarked that he was getting over writing blocks, reacting quickly to\nMcGraw\u2019s fanciful images with new poems. The University of Delaware published their\ncollaboration, <em>The Death of Cock Robin<\/em>,\na poem cycle inspired by a macabre old English nursery rhyme, in 1989.\n\n\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>All items from the W.
