Delaney returned page proofs with both minor and significant\nchanges related to a complicated classical backstory for the nonexistent novel <em>Phallos<\/em> that is at the heart of his\nstory. Delany signed his letters and emails &#8220;Chip&#8221; and addressed them\nto &#8220;Bill.&#8221; Several of the letters are typed and laser-printed, while\nthe rest are printed emails. Shown on the wall is a publisher&#8217;s proof of the\nbook&#8217;s dust jacket.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>All items from the Samuel R.
