Prior to taking the matter to court, Redding corresponded with Hugh M. Morris, then the president of the university\u2019s Board of Trustees, requesting that Morris allow the students to be admitted. The letters between Morris (for whom Morris Library is named), and Redding were included as evidence in Parker v. University of Delaware. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>[UD_EXHIBITION_ITEM]<\/em> <em>[UD_EXHIBITION_ITEM]<\/em> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Yearbook photographs of 1956 UD senior class members Marjorie Lockett and Leonard L. University of Delaware<\/em> ruling.
