(ATF) began offering a typeface based on Will Bradley\u2019s manuscript-inspired lettering for the cover of the December 1894 Christmas Number of&nbsp;<em>The Inland Printer<\/em>. The typeface was announced with fanfare in&nbsp;<em>The Inland Printer<\/em>; ATF provided a two-color, four-page insert, printed on handmade paper, for the September 1895 issue. ATF followed up the successful product with the Bradley Outline Series. In the December 1897 issue of&nbsp;<em>The<\/em><em>Inland Printer<\/em>&nbsp;the company boasted, \u201cBradley Outline is opportunely submitted as an aid to printers who desire to give their customers superior and artistic effects in color harmonies during the festive season.\u201d\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>[UD_EXHIBITION_ITEM]<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>[UD_EXHIBITION_ITEM]<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[UD_EXHIBITION_ITEM] Beginning in 1895, the American Type Founders Co.
