“Gardeners on Gardening” showcases a selection of books by gardeners who have written with passion about the art of gardening and horticulture. Appealing to botanists, landscape architects, and backyard gardeners, the exhibition includes books from the nineteenth through the twenty-first century.
Curator Sally W. Donatello of the Special Collections Department of the Library organized the cases into four categories: editors and writers; horticulturists and garden experts; amateurs and garden lovers; and, artists, historians, and scientists. The following bibliography includes all the books that were seen in the exhibition.
This exhibition was on display in the Information Room on the first floor of Morris Library from June 1-August 17, 2004.
