Theresa Rebeck participated in the Hedgebrook Women Playwrights Festival in 2001.  Approaching its 20th anniversary in 2017, the festival takes place at Hedgebrook on Whidbey Island near Seattle.  Hedgebrook is a non-profit organization whose goal is “equality for women’s voices to achieve a just and peaceful world.”
