This enlarged version of Bradley’s cover for The Chap-Book is from the French journal Les Maîtres de l’Affiche (“Masters of the Poster”), which ran from 1896 to 1900. Each issue of the journal presented a series of numbered lithographs showcasing contemporary poster art. Altogether, the journal printed a total of 256 lithographs representing 97 different artists from Europe and America.
