Although the Dodd-Frank bill passed both the Senate and the House, Kaufman expressed doubts about its ability to deliver the necessary reforms on Wall Street and laid the blame for the bill’s weaknesses with Senate Republicans. President Obama signed the Dodd-Frank bill into law on July 21, 2010.
