Senator Kaufman visited John Dickinson High School in Wilmington on February 18, 2010. At Dickinson High School, Kaufman observed the school’s new STEM Academy, which operates under the principles of standards-based education and project-based learning. Students who participate in the STEM Academy take classes such as Robotics, Technology Problems, and the Processes of Design and Engineering.
